Greenwashing is the act of making false claims about being environmentally conscious without living up to these claims. It is a combination of the two words “green” and “whitewash”.

Green Is Not a Colour

Green Is Not a Colour is a project that explores the topic of greenwashing within the fast fashion industry. It is in the form of a collection of six educational posters as well as a website, guiding consumers on how to spot greenwashing when purchasing products. Greenwashing has increasingly become more common within society, misleading consumers into believing products are green when they are not. These posters are printed by the means of risograph on G.F Smith Colour Plan paper in the colour Park Green.
